Vehicle Wash and Engine Cleaning

Properly clean the vehicle and remove coarse dirt, including in the engine compartment and wheel arches.

Hand Wash

Car wash

Never wash the vehicle in direct sunlight and always use plenty of wash water.

The entire paint surface should remain wet with water/Car Bath mixture throughout the wash! "Keep it wet."

Insects

The best method is to place a Swissvax cloth soaked in lukewarm water over the insect residues for five minutes. Then wash with Car Bath wash water and a Micro-Wash microfiber cloth (yellow). Do not rub! Do not use insect sponges, etc. They cause micro-scratches on the paint finish.

Application of Car Bath

1. Fill two wash buckets with 20 liters of warm water. Add one capful of Swissvax Car Bath to one of the buckets.

2. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clear water.

3. Wash the vehicle "from top to bottom" using a Swissvax Waschpudel™ and plenty of wash water, avoiding circular motions. Start with the roof, trunk, and hood. Always rinse the Waschpudel™ first in the bucket with clear water, then dip it back into the Car Bath bucket and continue washing. This prevents annoying wash scratches.

4. Rinse the vehicle with plenty of clear water.

5. Dry the vehicle with a Swissvax Hydralip and/or Micro-Dry drying cloth.

Engine Cleaning and Sealing

Application of SWISSVAX Engine for Engine Cleaning

1. Protect the distributor, ignition coil, and spark plugs with plastic wrap.

2. Fill a Swissvax Mixing Bottle with Swissvax Engine Concentrate up to the "1" marking.

3. Add the correct amount of water for the desired concentration ("1:1" for heavily soiled engine bays, "1:2" for normal dirt, and "1:3" for exhaust stains on exterior paint).

4. Evenly spray the Swissvax Engine mixture onto cooled, dry surfaces and let it sit for 3 minutes.

5. Then, carefully remove oil, soot, and other dirt with a Swissvax Wheel Brush. Occasionally spray with the Swissvax Engine mixture as needed.

6. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.

7. Remove the plastic wrap and allow the engine to dry thoroughly.

Application of SWISSVAX Motorshine

1. Carefully clean the engine with Swissvax Engine.

2. Be sure to turn off the ignition before use (risk of short circuit!). Cover adjacent paint and body parts.

3. Spray Swissvax Motorshine onto completely dry, cooled surfaces.

4. Apply evenly and in several fine spray layers until a continuous glossy film forms.

5. Let it dry for 15–30 minutes.
